Christmas Boogie 2007 - Dec 19th to Jan 6th

Welcome to the Skydive Spain Christmas Boogie 2007 webpage.

2007 Formation Big Way, will you be joining in our 2008 attempt? We have prepared lots of activities for this year and offer a fantastic boogie for experienced and new skydivers.

Aircraft are to be confirmed as 3 x G92 and 1 x SMG. Formation loads are planned for possible big ways. In addition coaches / organisers have been booked for formation skydiving, freefly, and freestyle.

If you are new to skydiving, we will have beginners AFF and Static Line courses.

Safeflight School Canopy Course - December & January

Brian Vacher is returning to Skydive Spain again this Christmas to run the very popular 3 day canopy courses below:

4	Preliminary canopy course - 20th, 21st & 22nd Dec AVAILABLE
4	Preliminary canopy course - 28th, 29th & 30th Dec FULL
4	Advanced canopy course - 2nd, 3rd & 4th Jan AVAILABLE

Due to the high demand, Brian has announced more course dates of which there is still availability.

You can choose the Preliminary or Advanced course and learn to become the pilot of your canopy.

Preliminary Course - 3 Days
After completion of the first day the 3 day course consists of around 20 basic exercises, that the student is asked to perform under their canopy. During the course the student will perform each exercise at least once so each exercise is understood. Further ground school modules are completed, covering canopy dive flows, logging of the information collected, and choosing a canopy. The student is also introduced to the further 8 more technical, but essential, in air exercises. However, time does not normally allow for these exercises to be completed under supervision.

Advanced Course - 3 Days
The advanced course consists of introducing the student to getting more performance from the canopy, flying consistently through gates or a lane and an introduction to Canopy Piloting Competitions. Students must either have over 1000 jumps or already have completed a 3 day SFS Preliminary Course as a minimum.

The price for either course is 200€ per person + 200€ expenses split between all participants. Jump costs will be 20€ per jump.

Due to the high level of personal tuition, places are limited and we will take partcipants strictly on a first come first serve basis. We will require a £50 deposit per person to confirm your place on the course. Please call our UK office: +44 (0)113 2505600 to book.

Wingsuit Coach and Camera Flying Seminars

Wingsuit Coaching, Load Organising - Liz Ashley and Craig Poxon

Liz Ashley from www.wingin-it.co.uk, Netheravon's Wing-suit School is available during the whole boogie. An introductory course of ground school and 1 coached jump for 135€. For the experienced, wing-suit hire costs 10€ per jump + jump ticket.

A requirement of 200 jumps within the past 18months is needed to participate on the course.

Craig will be load organising and offering wing-suit coaching during the Boogie. Craig is a Birdman International Instructor.

Craig has achieved 4 World records, 2 Gold and 2 Silver medals in skydiving.

Camera Flying Seminars - Dave Butterall will be holding camera flying seminars.
These seminars will cover all aspects of camera flying and are ideal for those who are new to camera flying and those looking to improve on their existing skills.

Canopy Formation Coaching and Progression

Pat Hammond is returning to Skydive Spain after the successful trip last year.

Whether you are experienced and want to have fun or if the thought of attaching you and a friend together whilst under canopy now strikes appeal with you, Pat will teach you all the skills and safety factors of CREW.

Pat brings with him all the necessary rigs and canopies to be used.

Cost of the jumps are 24€ per slot (you cover yourself and your coach - 2 slots) + 10€ coaching fee.

Friends and Family

Many skydiving boogies offer little to family and friends who have come along.

The Skydive Spain boogie is different. Just a short drive of 20 minutes takes you into the heart of Seville city centre.

Seville is Spain's 4th largest city and even though it is large, it still has a fantastic historic atmosphere. Its Cathedral is thought to be the largest church in the world and you can climb the 90m steps to the top of its minaret.

The weather will also be warm during the boogie in comparison to other dropzones in Spain which can be colder than England!.
