Skydive Spain is a
successful skydiving centre. We are proud of all our
students as they pass through our courses and want
to give testimonials of their experiences with us.
We also have many
experienced jumpers coming over to visit. Some are
here for team training, some for holidays and some
want to take part in seasonal boogies.
News - July 2008
This month we
saw our Spanish registered Dornier G92
making it's first loads of the summer in
addition to the Caravan.
We saw a busy
weekend at the start of the month for
Tandems, which lead to some participants
going on to complete the AFF course.
During June,
we were flying the Cessna Grand Caravan, we also
began our DZ improvements with the addition
of the rigging loft, maintenance workshop,
team training and AFF / Tandem classrooms.
This month, we
welcome teams training for this season's
competitions. In freefly - team Volare
and in formation skydiving teams Sonic V, and Bonobo with
coaching from Steve Hamilton.
Alex, Ricky
and Danny came for a long weekend and were
joined by freeflyers Glenn, Justin, Mark and
friends.
We also
welcomed an RAF Exped of 8 from Ireland, all the
group passed the AFF course and completed
their consolidation jumps. Congratulations
lads!!

Ashley's Wingsuit school, Brian Vacher's
Safe Flight Canopy Course and much, much

News - December 2007

We saw
experienced skydivers come this month to
take advantage of the good weather and
the 15,000 feet altitude we fly to every day.
AFF Instructor
Jason Snailham came with a group of students,
James Batchelor returned with his AFF School.
This month we welcomed
more and more skydivers for freefly coaching and fun
jumps. Mark Owen and a group of freeflyers from the UK
came for a long weekend of fun jumps and coaching.
A group from Poland
visited the DZ running an AFF school to take advantage
of the good weather in Andalucia, Spain.
AFF courses
ran throughout the month, Jason Snailham returned with a group of students for the AFF
course, as did Ben Wood from the Cornish Parachute
Club organising a visit for the 26th Nov to 10th
December.

Congratulations to
newlyweds Dan & Stacy - who came to our DZ on
honeymoon. Stacy got her FS1 and Dan got freefly
coaching from Jim Harris of Team Outbreak.
We celebrated the
birthdays of pilot Éder and staff members Patricia,
Pete, and Ana.
Rob got his 500th
jump with us on a 12-way formation skydive, Andy his
100th, and Pete his 300th.
This month we welcomed
experienced skydivers from Hinton Skydiving Centre,
UK who came for a weekend of fun jumping.
We had AFF courses
throughout the month, tandem skydives and
experienced jumpers all enjoying the great weather
and turbo aircraft.
News - September 2007
We welcomed a large
group from the UK this month. Glenn Philips arranged
a trip from Black Knights, more freeflyers arrived
from Langar. Norwegians Tom and Marianne came for
freeflying.
Andy Lovemore was here to provide Freefly coaching
along with Team Outbreak's Jim and Mikey.
Team Outbreak
Freeflyers's Jim and Mikey are back at the DZ and coaching after a
successful Team event at the World Meet in Russia
and 1st place at the British Nationals.
We also enjoyed a
visit from the Champion brothers, Brum's answer to
the Chuckle brothers!!

This month, we welcome
military exped 2PARA, and BPA Instructors John Horne
and Dick Kalinski. Five of the exped are here for
the AFF Course, and two for FS and FF Coaching.
Throughout August we
have experienced skydivers fun jumping. Many
choosing to complete the Formation Skydiving Course
(FS1).
Our resident
freefly coaches, Team Outbreak have been competing
in the World Cup meet in Russia. 2nd place - Well
Done Guys!!!!!
In July, Skydive Spain
welcomes many experienced skydivers, a
Military exped
for the
AFF Course,
local fun jumpers, Tandems and Formation Skydiving
graduates.
The month of June has
seen intense team training by
formation skydiving
teams Elan, Havoc, Boogie Pimps, Phobia and
freefly
teams. Team Elan are the current British and World
4-way Skydiving Champions.
The Norwegian
Skywalkers freefly team visited the DZ for training
during June, as well as Outbreak - our resident
FF coaches.
A 8-way FS training
camp was held over the weekend of 23rd
/ 24th
to coach exit techniques, and dive formations.

The
DZ welcomes several teams this month, FS - formation
skydiving teams Havoc - Bodyflight, Gravity Girls,
Sonic V, Bonnobo, all training hard with coaches
Pete Allum, John McIver and Steve Hamilton. FF - freefly teams Outbreak, Bad
Lieutenants and more.
The month of April was
one of our busiest yet ever. Lots of BCPA students
came over for beginners AFF courses, RAP jumping and
for experienced coaching. 34 AFF students took part,
a record for the dropzone.
A lot of
military Expeds and fun groups are parachuting at Skydive
Spain this month. At the end of the month the BCPA
will do their annual Easter trip to the DZ.
Preparations for the
Christmas Boogie are being made. A new accommodation
block and mezzanine floor are being assembled.

Welcome to the news
for November 2006. This month at Skydive Spain we
see various AFF students completing training which
they worked on last month. They will also begin
further advanced training to develop formation
skydiving and freefly skills.

News - October 2006
October is a busy
month for us. We are doing large numbers of AFF
students, the season is speeding up again with
experienced jumpers and we have an UK military
expedition coming at the end of the month.
The biggest news this
month is the filming work which went on at Skydive
Spain for new film 'Mr Lonely' starting Britta
Gartner. We also welcome many new AFF students and
the announcement of our
Christmas Boogie.
We are now in the
hottest time of the year at Skydive Spain. That has
still not stopped us from skydiving. We returned the
SMG-92 to
the centre to accommodate a group of military
Exped's and some AFF. See the photos here -
August 2006.
News - July 2006
Due to maintenance, our single
turbine aircraft (SMG-92) is unavailable at Skydive Spain,
effective immediately. The aircraft will return for the weekend
of 5-6th August until Sunday 13th August. It will then be
unavailable until approximately the beginning of September. When
the aircraft is not available, we are still jumping using a
Cessna 182.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and will
keep you updated with the final arrival date in September.
News - June 2006
The temperature has
risen sharply this month at Skydive Spain. Wall to
wall blue skies and no rain is the order of the day.
We have had lots of fun jumpers from Portugal and
other parts of Spain. In addition, we are very busy
with new AFF students.
We have our Spring
Blow Out Boogie this month. Various groups including
the BCPA, regulars from
Target Skysports,
another Exped group from Silver Stars in the UK, and
other groups.
Late February and
beginning of March have been busy with groups and
FF1 coaching.
Jim Harris has been
busy with David Dowd from Cirque Du Solei (left) and
we have four 4 way teams training - with coaching
from Steve Hamilton and John McIver.
Lots of groups have
been visiting us from the UK this month. Jim Harris
and Alex Thompson have been extremely busy coaching
new freefly and wingsuit students.

have a visit from RAPA who were at Skydive Spain on

wingsuit courses.
News - January 2006
The boogie has now
finished and the serious job of taking new Tandem
jumpers and 4-way teams has begun. Skydive Spain is
working closely with many UK formation skydiving
teams and wind tunnels to train for the competition
season ahead.
What a fantastic
boogie we had. Jumpers from many different nations
came along to enjoy hydrid skydives, big-ways,
one-on-one coaching and space ball jumps. A total of
4500 jumps were made over 375 lifts. Read more about

News 2005
See the news from all
our AFF, Static-line, Tandem and experienced
jumpers. In 2005, Skydive Spain was taken over new
management. In that time, new facilities have been
created such as a swimming pool, turbine aircraft to
take you to
15,000ft and many coaches for freefly, formation
skydiving and wingsuit. We had our first Boogie at
Easter when nearly 70 university students from
England came over and much more is planed for next
