At Skydive Spain we offer a range of wingsuit options with a qualified wingsuit instructor. You have the choice of doing a single 1 on 1 jump with the instructor or a more advanced 10-jump package. The complete course involves ground school of half a day, 5 jumps with the coach and 5 solos.
- The ground school begins with you given history of Birdmen and their development, and being introduced to the wing suit.
- You will be shown how to hook up your wing suit to the chosen rig and how to hook up your wings.
- The instructor will then explain and show you how to get into the wing suit and go through various checks you must do before boarding the aircraft.
- Preparation for the flight involves theory on weather conditions, briefing your fellow jumpers, pilots etc. and flight pattern.
- There is also much theory on wing suit flight techniques; exits, flight, wave-off, pull and after the pull.
- The course price includes all the wing suit hire, instruction, de-briefing and DVD of the jumps.
- Price: 745 Eur (incl. wing suit rental)
Please note: your personal gear may not be suitable for wing suit jumping, hire kit is available on the dropzone (price not included in the course fee). The ideal main canopies are non elliptical such as Sabres, Silhouettes, Pilots, Safires or Spectres. Advice can be given prior to your trip, just contact us.
If you don't want to commit to the full 10 jump course, then why not take advantage of our One Jump Introductory Course. This involves:
- the ground school
- one coached jump
- debrief and your jump on DVD.
- Price: 150 Eur (incl. wing suit rental)
- Bring 2 or more friends with you and the Introductory Course price will drop to 135 Eur per person (3+ participants).
Our requirements are taken from the recommendation of the birdman suit manufacturers. Whilst birdman is an amazing part of skydiving, some experience is required:
- A minimum of 500 freefall skydives or at least 200 freefall skydives made within the past 18 months
- BPA members wishing to gain WS1 must be an FAI 'C' Certificate parachutist also
Bookings for wing suit courses must be made in advance of your arrival at the dropzone.
A paypal account is not required, all you need is a credit/debit card. When using the PAY NOW paypal service you have accepted all our Terms and Conditions which includes that the jumper is within all restrictions for the event booked. Please be sure to write important information in the "Instructions to Merchant/Seller" section; your name, start date of course, your mobile number and your email address e.g. Sarah Johnson, 15/07/10, 07977 001100,sarah@johnson.co.uk.
The confirmation letter will be emailed to you. Please print and bring the paypal receipt with you on the day of the jump.
