The Funshine Boogie finished last week and we have asked Alex Murphy to give us his opinion about this event:

"This year's Funshine just topped the top of all the past funshine boogies. We had some of the best organisers in Europe at our disposal including Jim Harris, Mikey Carpenter, Matt Hill and Havard Flaat. Day 1 set the scene with an 8:30 meeting led by organiser Jim Harris and all 24 attendees. You could choose what you wanted to do each day, either head up, head down, tracking or toy jumps. We were taking off on the rest of the days at 8:30 and were able to make between 7 and 9 jumps from the Dornier and finish by 4pm so we could go to the beach (or the bar.!). This is now my 5th Funshine boogie and it just gets better and better, I am super happy that Jim and Mikey have resurrected this event. It is also great to see the skill level of everyone increasing to such a high level. A big up to the pilot Curro who was soooo fast even in 35 deg heat also the manifest and office for their efficiency and flexibility, the packers who just kept on going no matter what, the organisers for their professionalism and skill and of course the Swallows for running a great DZ. Make sure you save me a space on the next Funshine because we will be back, THE END OF THE WORLD IS COMING..!"

This past week we had on our dropzone Airplay 4 way team from Denmark who did 50 training jumps. Their training ended with a barbeque and together with all the friends they made while visiting us, they celebrated this camp.

We welcomed Karl Alvarez who visited us for some FF Coaching and during his time here he jumped with our instructor and coach Anamaria Mishka.

Carlos came from Ourense for more than a week of jumping on our dropzone. We look forward to you next visit in autumn!!

On Saturday and Sunday local Spanish 4way FS team "Clover" started their training for the Spanish National Championships later in the year. Our very own Oliver and Ernesto are members of this new team. Suerte chicos!!

Our regulars also visited us this week and they had loads of fun with tracking and freefly jumps. Thank you all for being here and we look forward to your next visit.

We would like to remind the tandem students about the Facebook contest, it is very easy to participate, all you have to do is upload one of your best tandem skydive photo and ask your friends to click "Like". The next draw is on 30th of June!! There are not so many days left, so tag your photo and start counting the "Likes". The photo with the most likes will win a free tandem skydive. We look forward to seeing you again on our dropzone enjoying the shots of adrenaline that skydive offers to each jumper.
