The Instructors Academy have been showing a presence at Skydive Spain for the last two weeks. They have been running several courses including a USPA coach course, tandem course and AFF course. Congrats to Martijn and Oleg for Tandem ratings, Tony and Oleg for a coach ratings and Andreas for AFF rating. Marcus and the Instructors Academy also brought some of their own instructors Julian and Joachim who have been working with AFF students Stephan, Marcus and Mark who were all successful in passing their AFF courses.
Pete Brook and Dave Pratt have been visiting Skydive Spain with BPA AFF instructor examiner Andy Montriou who has been helping prepare them for their upcoming AFF instructor course. They have been making prep levels 3s, 5s, and 6s with Andy as the pretend student to test their skills. If you are interested in becoming an instructor and need some assistance then contact the DZ on firstname.lastname@example.org and our highly qualified instructors can help you prepare for your course.
This weekend we had the Canopy Control Course run by Jim Harris. Our regulars and lots of Germans decided to participate in the event and got advantage of the new information or just tips and tricks Jim had for each and every one of them. They improved their canopy piloting and at the same time enjoyed the good weather and had lots of jumps in the sun. If you would like to join our next Canopy Control Course, please don't hesitate to contact us at email@example.com and book a slot. We have 3 options specially designed for you: one, two or three days.
The Danish group has been jumping all this week to include their elite team. Ending with a jump total of 650 they had a great visit and are due to come back to carry on their training in September. If you want to join their group then please contact our office for some information.
John Horne has unfortunately left us this week, he was with us for a total of 7 days. John came with 2 AFF students and a group of 6 experienced jumpers. John is a BPA advanced instructor examiner and he also brought with him Ian Rosenvinger who is a BPA advanced instructor examiner as well.
Both Warwick and York universities have arrived this week. In total they are 26 jumpers with a mix of RAPS students, AFF students and experienced jumpers. They are here for about 10 days and are mixing the jumping up with some hard core drinking.
Don't forget in April we have Sky Saver week where jump tickets are only €21.50 from Monday to Friday. We also have the Seville Sequentials with Volare in May.
Thanks to everyone for your support over the last week and as always a big thank you to our staff who help Skydive Spain run so smoothly.
Hasta Luego and Blue Skies
