New national wingsuit record at Skydive Spain!

星期五, 五月 8, 2026

Spanish skydiving has once again made history. In May, our skydiving centre hosted an unprecedented challenge: the attempt to break the Spanish national records for vertical and horizontal formations in wingsuits.

The team worked with a formation of 15 participants for both disciplines.

After four years of attempts to beat the previous national record, a group of skydivers led by Cristian Gómez Pintado managed not only to break the existing record for horizontal formation, but also to set a national record in the vertical category for the first time.

The event was marked by moments of tension, frustration, excitement and celebration. Following several attempts and adjustments, the historic vertical record was achieved at the end of the first day, specifically during the fifth jump.

The celebrations, however, were short-lived. The next goal was to break the horizontal record.

The fourth and final jump on the third day turned out to be the decisive moment. The national horizontal record was also set with a formation of 15 pilots.

After days of intense focus and hard work, the atmosphere gave way to a celebration of a collective achievement that has already gone down in the history of Spanish skydiving.

The skydivers who took part in this historic record were:

Ramón García Rosado
Eric de Cima Mensales
