TrackDayz 2-Plane Formation was amazing!!, by Jakub Organista

At the beginning of the year we were talking to Skydive Spain about doing something big for the end of the winter season.

We came up with the idea of doing the big way for 30 people from two planes. We organized several editions of TrackDayz through January – March, which we used as trials for the main formation event. Our aim was to prepare the jumpers for the big way, we were flying big formations, two formations at the same time, etc.

The biggest challenge was to set two planes in the air in a way that two formations could easily meet in the sky and that everyone was safe during the break off and landing at the dropzone.

We had to calculate the wind, weather conditions, and experience of each jumper. We spent hours on planning and talking to the pilots as well. I was in the leading plane, Novi in the trail plane.
