What is the European Skydiving Symposium?
The European Skydive Symposium (ESS) stands as the premier gathering for the international parachute community, merging a comprehensive safety conference with an expansive industry Expo. It’s a unique environment where weekend enthusiasts, high-performance coaches, and veteran instructors rub shoulders with the innovators shaping the future of flight.
A Tailored Educational Experience
The ESS program is intentionally designed to address the unique needs of every discipline. While the Main Stage acts as the heartbeat of the event bringing everyone together for universal safety briefings and inspiring keynote speakers, the symposium also features four dedicated breakout groups:
- Tandem & AFF Instructors (two groups) – Deep dives into student management, emergency protocols, and pedagogical techniques
- Riggers – Technical workshops focusing on equipment maintenance, packing innovations, and life-saving hardware
- Content Creators – Strategies for capturing the thrill of the sport while maintaining rigorous safety standards in the air
