Frequently Asked Questions
- The minimum age is 16 years old. Those under 18 require approval from their parents or legal guardians. If minor jumper is accompanied by them, they must bring e-waiver and parental consent along with copies of each of their IDs/passports; if the minor is not accompanied by them, he/she must bring all the previous documents mentioned notarized.
- If you are aged 70 years or over, you will need your doctor to sign and stamp a Skydive Spain medical form. Without this form, you are unable to jump. Please request the relevant form.
- The maximum weight for participating in the activity is 110kg. Passengers weighing between 95kg and 110kg will be charged an extra €55.
- People of varying levels of disability can participate in a tandem skydive, however, we must know the full details in advance of the booking and a fitness declaration form must be signed at the DZ office on the day of the jump.
- The instructor is properly licenced and this licence includes Third Party Liability insurance which covers him/her and his/her passenger in the case of negligence. Therefore in the case of any injury that would require medical attention the passenger would cover the costs until responsibility is established. If the passenger requires additional coverage they can become a member of Federación Andaluza de Deportes Aéreos (FEADA) for an additional cost.
- Do not drink alcohol before your skydive.
- If you have doubts about your medical conditions, please check the section Self Declaration of Fitness to Skydive in our e-waiver. If you cannot agree with the conditions, please download this medical form and take it to your doctor before you book.
When making a booking you are given an arrival time on the day of your jump. This is the time we want you to arrive at the office on the dropzone to register for your jump, this is not the time of your jump. For individual bookings or small groups of up to 3 people, we endeavour to complete your experience within 3 hours of your arrival time. Obviously for larger groups, the completion of all jumps can be considerably longer. Due to the many variables which affect our sport we advise that you keep the whole day free. Please be as prompt as possible, because we operate on a ‘first come, first jump’ basis. This means if your arrival time is 10am, and you are late, there is a chance the customers booked in at 10.30am may arrive before you, and they will jump first.
The simple answer is that all skydivers carry a main and a reserve parachute. If the main parachute fails to open the reserve would be used. During your tandem skydive this procedure will be done by your Instructor. In addition to the two canopies there is an automatic device known as an Automatic Activation Device (AAD), which would open the reserve parachute if the instructor were unable to do so.
